Scale Steam is based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire and specialises in miniature and general engineering. We are two engineers and a coded welder with over 25 years experience each, we work on a range of projects involving both road and rail model engines. The services we offer include the building, renovation and overhaul of steam engines (we will even finish yours for you!) as well as machining castings and parts which are too large for your machines.

We will consider almost any project, however generally work in the following scales:

- Traction engines - 2" to 4 1/2"

- Rail locos etc - 3 1/2" to 7 1/4"
